Using twitwoop registered users can now record and directly upload voice messages to their Twitter timeline simply by placing a voice call with their mobile or landline phones.
woopla has fully integrated the Twitter API into its own IVR multimedia communication platform using OAuth-security - recommended by Twitter to let external application providers connect to their own systems.
To use this service Twitter users need to first register their phone number(s) at http://twitwoop.com.
After registration several dial-in numbers can be used. Numbers are currently available in the United Kingdom, USA, Norway, Italy, France, the Netherlands and Germany.
Recorded messages will be appended by a numerical reply code. Using this reply code other users can now directly voice reply to the original message by calling one of the twitwoop numbers as well.
Registration is free of charge. National or international long distance charges may apply when calling the fixed line numbers in New York, Los Angeles, London or Duisburg.
woopla is now integrating the Twitter API into other phone services on customer's demand.
