Google Wave is Google's latest and highly acclaimed product which is merging EMail, Chat, Filesharing, Wiki and Blog to one comprehensive communication and collaboration tool.

Back in July 2009 at an early stage of Google's Wave development woopla received one of 6.000 developer invitations to join in and start developing applications based on the Google Wave platform.

Since then woopla has developed some prototype robots and gadgets, which enable communicating parties to be called directly from a Wave. Robots, which are added to a Wave using an EMail-address, interact with other participants in a Wave and listen to typed in commands.
